This event led to the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a substance thought to be pepper spray caused injuries at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for deploying a toxic agent, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their suitcases taken after getting out of a car park lift, police said.

A young child was among those injured during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – caused disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
