I witnessed malevolence as assailant attempted to storm Jewish temple, rabbi narrates
A rabbi has described the instant when a man tried to barge into his city Jewish temple during a lethal attack, remarking "I saw malevolence, I witnessed animosity".
The spiritual leader mentioned that he and others secured the entrances of the worship house as the assailant was "ramming the entrances, flinging weighty plant pots, attempting whatever he could to gain entry".
Commending the quick-thinking of those at the synagogue, he said: "I saw true bravery, I must admit, and individuals who rushed to assist fellow members rather than escaping. It was remarkable."
